Junior Baywatch

Surf Safety

Junior Baywatch is a ‘SURF SAFETY AND SURVIVAL PROGRAM’

The program is aimed towards Schools, Youth clubs and activity groups, to give the necessary knowledge and skills required to be safe whilst at the beach.

Surf Safety

The program is both practical and theoretical it will provide students and youths with an interactive learning experience. Throughout the program the individuals will learn about the beach and geography and the potential hazards associated with using the beach and how to avoid these.

Along with learning how to be safe beach users they will also learn practical survival skills. Whilst it is important to comunicate to the youth of today Survival skills we also encourage them to have fun and structure the course around each individual group and the needs of the group or school. The length of the course will depend on the group and can be specifically designed.

We feel Junior Baywatch is absolutely essential as approximately 5000 sea rescues were performed last summer by the local Coastguards and Lifeguards on the west coast of Cornwall and Devon alone. This program will equip the students with the required iformation needed to help reduce fatalities.

Surf Safety

Our Surf Safety officers are fully qualified Surf intructors and Lifeguards and have had over 10 years experience
Lifeguarding beaches in England and Australia.

The courses wil be available after School, during vacations and Weekends out of Season. Cost of the course will
be subject to booking. We accept children between the age of 8 and 12 for the this course.
