One off surf sessions, weekend surf camp specials, or fully residential courses.
Nick Thorn Surf Coaching has a long history of working with schools around the UK.
We can offer an unprecedented level of teaching - ranging from surf coaching to fully accredited educational courses such as the Surf Lifesaving & Rookie Lifeguard Award or Junior Baywatch Awards. These awards are currently run by our team in schools and Colleges throughout Devon.
We can cater for Primary, Secondary, Colleges and summer schools. Classes can expect to learn about water safety, beach awareness, tidal changes, wave generation, wave & weather forecasting, types of surf & rescue equipment, and surf etiquette!
The programs we have in place aim to develop the student’s confidence, team work, social and people skills, while hopefully creating a new fun and healthy sporting interest for life.
We are fully insured, all our instructors are qualified British Surfing Association (B.S.A.) Surf Coaches, holding NARS Beach Lifeguard and SLSA & RLSS Life Saving qualifications.
CRB checks are also carried out on every member of our staff so
they can safely work with children.
